DAY 5: Sesame Chicken

You know those nights when you come home from a long day and all you want to do is reach for the drawer of take out menus. Well today's recipe is a healthy and affordable take on Chinese take out.

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with tin foil. Then cut 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts into 1 inch cubes

STEP 2: In a small bowl mix together 2 tbs soy sauce, 2 tbs orange marmalade, 1 tbs white wine, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes.
STEP 3: Add the cubed chicken to the bowl and mix it well. Then let marinade for about 10minutes in the refrigerator.
STEP4: In another bowl (or ziploc bag) combine 1/2 cup of flour and 2 tbs sesame seeds.
STEP 5: Once the chicken is marinated drain it and pat dry with a few paper towels.
Then coat the chicken in the flour/seed mixture.
STEP 6: Line the chicken up on the cookie sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes until the chicken is crispy but not dry.
At about 10 minutes I pulled the chicken out and drizzled sesame oil on top, you could also drizzle melted butter.
Serve them up alongside rice and veggies and you've got yourself take out without the dollar signs or extra fat.
